Continual improvement of the occupational risk prevention plan

EXCAVACIONES PASTOR, S.A. considers occupational health and safety a top priority. For this reason, the company carries out collaborations and evaluations related to this issue and applies all means possible to improve the current Occupational Risk Prevention Plan so as to ensure that all production areas are covered and that all employees are aware of them and comply with them.

Regardless of any implemented risk prevention measures or related actions, the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan keeps up to date with new or unforeseen circumstances and improves the guidelines for other circumstances outlined by the Plan.

EXPA is able to carry out a more effective prevention mainly focused on our company’s activity, namely earthmoving in civil engineering works.

We have our own Occupational Health and Safety Officers together with a hired Occupational Risk Prevention Service, currently Sociedad de Prevención de Fremap.

Another important measure we undertake is to train all staff on the occupational risks that affect them directly or indirectly. For this purpose we organize training courses and seminars, conduct surveys to assess employee comprehension, and produce additional documentation such as leaflets and small pocket-size guides for reference.

We also organize first aid courses and training about what to do in situations of risk or emergencies.

These activities are proof of EXPA’s solid commitment to help increasingly reduce the number of work-related accidents.
